Ashley has been part of the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team since the practice opened in 2007. She received her Dental Assisting certification from York Technical College. She is certified in Dental Radiography, Nitrous Oxide, Coronal Polishing and CPR.
Ashley was born and raised in Mount Holly, North Carolina. Outside of work, she enjoys running, hiking, going to concerts, being outside and spending time with her family and friends. She loves going camping with her husband, daughter and dog.
Ashley chose the dental field because dentistry offers many opportunities, challenges and rewards. She enjoys meeting and interacting with her patients and seeing them achieve the smile they have always wanted. Ashley understands that many patients have dental anxiety and she is dedicated to providing a comfortable experience to help overcome their fear. She prioritizes treating each patient as if they are her own family. She is known for being kind, caring and passionate.
Heidi has been with Oak Ridge Dental Arts since 2015. She received her Dental Assistant Certificate from Lake Norman Dental Assisting School in 2012. Heidi is certified in Nitrous Oxide, CPR, Dental Radiography and Coronal Polishing.
Out of the office, Heidi enjoys fishing, hanging out with her diva dog, Addie, and spending time with her nephews whom she adores. Her happy place is the beach.
Heidi dealt with unexplained headaches for over ten years. She went to a new dentist to speak to them about her headaches, and they discovered she had TMJ. The dentist made a night guard for Heidi, and her headaches got drastically better. Heidi then decided that she wanted to be a dental assistant.
Heidi is known for being very sweet, caring, and upbeat. She is dedicated to making patients feel welcome and cared about. She understands many patients have dental anxiety, and she strives to provide gentle care in a friendly, calming environment to help combat any fears. Her favorite part of dentistry is helping patients smile confidently again.
Mary joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2020. She attended Catawba Valley Community College where she graduated as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Mary was born and raised in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. Outside of dentistry, Mary is also a yoga and fitness instructor. She enjoys spending her free time outdoors and love scuba diving and hiking.
Mary was a nanny for two dentists who encouraged her to go into the dental field. She truly loves helping people achieve beautiful healthy smiles that light up the world. It is important to her that her patients feel comfortable, safe, and truly cared for in her hands. She is very personable and truly cares for each of her patients as individuals and wants what is best for them. Mary is dedicated to providing thorough, gentle care to help her patients have a positive, comfortable dental experience.
Tammy has been part of the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team since 2009. Tammy received her Dental Hygiene degree from Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, New York.
Tammy is originally from Auburn, New York and relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina for her husband’s job. In her free time, Tammy enjoys going to yard sales and teaching children’s church. She enjoys spending time with her husband and their son and daughter.
Tammy began her dental career as a dental assistant. She wanted to expand her knowledge and chose to become a dental hygienist. Tammy enjoys establishing a relationship with each of her patients and educating them about how to improve their dental health. She is dedicated to providing a great dental experience for each of her patients. She enjoys providing her patients with long-term dental care to keep their teeth healthy and values her patients’ trust in her. She is known for being very friendly, knowledgeable, and for providing her patients with a painless dental experience.
Erin, our Office Manager, joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2019. Her certifications include CPR, Nitrous Oxide, X-ray, and DAANCE.
Erin grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina and has lived in Lincoln County for twenty years. Erin and her husband have been married since 2001 and have two children. In her free time, she loves to travel and spend time with her family. She also enjoys watching her son play football and her daughter cheer.
Erin began her dental career in Oral Surgery, where she spent twenty years as a Dental Assistant II. She decided to transition to the administrative side of helping patients with their dental needs. She is dedicated to providing a positive dental experience and helping patients achieve the healthy, beautiful smile they deserve. She is a very positive, happy person and will go above and beyond to ensure your visit with us is the best.
Janiel joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2019. Janiel earned her Associates degree in Legal Assistant and worked as a Paralegal in a Law Firm prior to dentistry.
Janiel is originally from Logan, Utah and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2015. She has a twin sister, plays the piano, enjoys decorating and has a great sense of fashion.
Janiel enjoys learning new things, and believes dentistry has many opportunities, challenges and rewards. She loves helping others and meeting new people every single day. She understands that many patients have dental anxiety and she is dedicated to talking to them and providing a calm, comfortable environment to help combat their fears. It is important to Janiel to provide a positive dental experience and let each and every patient know that we truly care for them. She is known for her positive, fun personality and is very kind and caring.
Kristin joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in May, 2020. In school, she studied Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, and Environmental Science.
Kristin is originally from Logan, Utah and recently relocated to North Carolina to be close to family. She loves nature, and enjoys hiking, camping and traveling. She is an avid foodie, and enjoys going to cute “hole in the wall” restaurants.
