Amanda
Dental Hygienist
Amanda joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2021. She graduated from Crown College with her Bachelor of Arts in Education. Later, she attended Guildford Technical Community College and obtained her Dental Hygiene degree. She is certified in S.P.I.C.E., Nomad, CPR, First Aid and Infection Control.
Amanda is originally from Owensboro, Kentucky. While in college, she moved to Tennessee where she met her husband, Clint. They now live in Rockwell, NC. They have been married for eighteen years and share four children together, Abbi, Anna Sophia, Lorelai and Levi. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, watch TV, travel, organize, play board games, go to church and love on her two miniature poodles.
Amanda loves educating patients how oral health is connected to their overall health. She values getting to meet patients and helping them to have a stress-free visit. She is thankful for the opportunity to make a difference in patient’s lives by helping them gain confidence in their oral health. She is committed to easing her patient’s anxiety by being gentle, while providing thorough care. Amanda is known by her patients for being gentle, understanding, calming, and empathetic.
Chapel
Dental Hygienist
Chapel joined the Oak Ridge Dental team in 2022. She attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in CPR, First Aid, Nitrous Oxide, Nomad and S.P.I.C.E.
Chapel grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina. After college, she moved to Charlotte and got her first apartment. The story behind her name starts with where her parents met, The University of Chapel Hill. Her Father proposed to her Mother at the Old Well on campus and they were married in Chapel Hill. Years later, her Mother brought her Father back to the Old Well to deliver the news that they were expecting a baby. Chapel was born at the UNC Hospital, and therefore, her parents decided the name Chapel was fitting. In her free time, Chapel loves traveling with her boyfriend, going to the beach, attending Pilates classes and shopping.
From the age of six, Chapel has always been fascinated with the dental field. In high school, she began working as an intern at her Orthodontist office. Throughout high school and during college, she volunteered at numerous Missions for Mercy clinics in North Carolina. A smile is the first thing she notices in someone. She loves that as a dental professional, she has the opportunity to educate patients on how a clean mouth and a beautiful smile, not only improves oral health, but total body health. She values working one on one with each patient to develop individualized care. She enjoys seeing her patients form healthy habits overtime from the education she provides them. She is known for the oral hygiene education she gives and her gentle but thorough work.
Emma
Dental Assistant
Emma joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2022. Emma says Dentistry chose her. She has loved dentistry since an early age and has been in the dental field since the age of seventeen.
Emma is originally from Asheville, North Carolina. She moved to Charlotte because she wanted a faster pace of life in a bigger city with more opportunities. She loves any outdoor activity, and says she is an “adrenaline junky”. Her goal is to go sky diving at least three times in her life.
Emma truly values connecting with her patients and creating a healthy provider/patient relationship. It is important to her to help change the “horrific” image of dentistry to a positive one. She always goes above and beyond to give her patients a reason to smile. She strives to make each patient’s visit personalized and cares for them beyond just their oral health.
Yasmine
Dental Assistant
Yasmine joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2020. She received her Dental Assistant certification from Central Piedmont Community College in 2016. She is certified in OSHA, HIPPA, IV Sedation, Nitrous Oxide, and Coronal Polishing.
Yasmine was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is very outdoorsy and loves hiking, traveling, and shopping.
Growing up, Yasmine realized dental health wasn’t a priority in her family, and she wanted to make a change for future generations. She enjoys a wide range of dentistry, especially oral surgery, dental implants, and orthodontics. The most important thing to Yasmine is educating her patients on proper oral health and home care. She is known for her kind, funny personality and for providing gentle care. She has a great bedside manner and always puts her patient’s needs first to help them feel comfortable and have a positive dental experience.
Jazmin
Front Desk
Jazmin joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2022. She graduated with her Associate in Science in 2009 from Hostos Community College. Jaz began her dental career by filing patient charts at the age of sixteen.
Jaz was born in the Dominican Republic. She moved to New York City as a teenager and relocated to Charlotte in 2020. In her free time, she loves outdoor activities with her kids, cooking, traveling and watching new movies/TV shows.
Jaz finds helping others to be very rewarding, especially helping those in pain. It is important to her to listen to each patient’s needs, in order to provide the best personalized care. She is excited to greet her patients with a smile each day!
Lindsay
Insurance Coordinator
Lindsay joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2019. She attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition.
Lindsay is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and reading.
Lindsay is dedicated to going above and beyond to help patients utilize their insurance benefits in the best way possible. She is known for her friendly personality and for being very helpful, reliable and responsible.
Tracy
Office Manager
Tracy joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2018. She attended Central Community College and graduated as a Certified Dental Assistant.
Tracy is a native Charlottean. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach. She also loves doing puzzles and Netflix binging.
Tracy has been in dentistry for over thirty years. She began her dental career as a dental assistant. After working as a dental assistant for many years, she decided she wanted to transition to the administrative side of dentistry. She is dedicated to providing patients with great customer service, and answering any questions they may have regarding their dental treatment needs. She is known for being friendly, helpful, and organized.
