Chapel
Dental Hygienist
Chapel joined the Oak Ridge Dental team in 2022. She attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in CPR, First Aid, Nitrous Oxide, Nomad and S.P.I.C.E.
Chapel grew up in Salisbury, North Carolina. After college, she moved to Charlotte and got her first apartment. The story behind her name starts with where her parents met, The University of Chapel Hill. Her Father proposed to her Mother at the Old Well on campus and they were married in Chapel Hill. Years later, her Mother brought her Father back to the Old Well to deliver the news that they were expecting a baby. Chapel was born at the UNC Hospital, and therefore, her parents decided the name Chapel was fitting. In her free time, Chapel loves traveling with her boyfriend, going to the beach, attending Pilates classes and shopping.
From the age of six, Chapel has always been fascinated with the dental field. In high school, she began working as an intern at her Orthodontist office. Throughout high school and during college, she volunteered at numerous Missions for Mercy clinics in North Carolina. A smile is the first thing she notices in someone. She loves that as a dental professional, she has the opportunity to educate patients on how a clean mouth and a beautiful smile, not only improves oral health, but total body health. She values working one on one with each patient to develop individualized care. She enjoys seeing her patients form healthy habits overtime from the education she provides them. She is known for the oral hygiene education she gives and her gentle but thorough work.
Patricia
Dental Hygienist
Patricia joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2024. She graduated from Forsyth Tech Community College with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in Nitrous Oxide and S.P.I.C.E.
Patricia is originally from Houston, Texas and moved to North Carolina when she was young. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, listening to classical music, and loves running.
Dental Hygiene is a deeply rewarding career for Patricia. She values the opportunity to help improve patients’ oral health and guide them to live healthier lives. Her favorite part of dentistry is that it combines science and art. It is important to Patricia to provide personalized dental care for each of her patients. She is known for being kind, compassionate and funny.
Whitney
Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Whitney joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2024. She attending Lake Norman Dental Assisting School in 2011 and graduated with her Dental Assisting Certificate. She is certified in Coronal Polishing, Xray, Nitrous Oxide, and Sleep Apnea.
Whitney is originally from Southern California. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina after having her first child to give her a “country life.” Whitney is a tree hugger at heart, and she loves being outside with nature and her children.
Whitney is committed to giving patients concierge treatment by educating her patients and helping turn their fear of dentistry into comfort and excitement. It is important to her to help her patients know they are cared for and leave with a smile from receiving great service.
McKenna
Dental Assistant II
McKenna joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2025. She is certified in NOMAD, Nitrous Oxide, X-ray, and Coronal Polishing.
McKenna is originally from Clayton, Minnesota. In her free time, she enjoys fishing, plants, and spending time with family.
It is important to McKenna to help patients feel comfortable, happy, confident, and healthy. She wants patients to feel heard and cared for. She is known for being detail oriented and for her caring personality.
Jazmin
Front Desk
Jazmin joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2022. She graduated with her Associate in Science in 2009 from Hostos Community College. Jaz began her dental career by filing patient charts at the age of sixteen.
Jaz was born in the Dominican Republic. She moved to New York City as a teenager and relocated to Charlotte in 2020. In her free time, she loves outdoor activities with her kids, cooking, traveling and watching new movies/TV shows.
Jaz finds helping others to be very rewarding, especially helping those in pain. It is important to her to listen to each patient’s needs, in order to provide the best personalized care. She is excited to greet her patients with a smile each day!
Tammy
Front Desk
Tammy joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2024.
Tammy is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. She loves spending time at the beach and spending time with her family. She also enjoys putting together flower arrangements and diamond painting.
Tammy started in dentistry 24 years ago. She values getting to know her patients and building relationships with them. To her, patients are extended family. She goes above and beyond to help patients in any way she can and is known for her great customer service.
Lindsay
Office Manager
Lindsay joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2019. She attended The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition.
Lindsay is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, hiking, and reading.
Lindsay is dedicated to going above and beyond to help patients utilize their insurance benefits in the best way possible. She is known for her friendly personality and for being very helpful, reliable and responsible.
