Lena joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2018. She graduated with her Associates in Arts at Mitchell Community College. She then received her Dental Assisting certificate from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 2017.
Lena is originally from Yoshkar-Ola, Russia. She moved to Mooresville, North Carolina with her mom when she was seven years-old and has been here ever since. Lena loves being outdoors, no matter the weather. She loves going on hikes, going to the lake or beach, and spending time with her family and friends.
Lena found herself wanting to be in the medical field for the longest time. She realized she wanted to pursue dentistry in her last year of her associates degree. She fell in love with dentistry because no matter what the problem is, it can always be fixed, whether that be with something as simple as a filling or something more surgical, like a dental implant. She values helping to give her patients their confidence back with their smile. It brings her joy to see how happy patients are with their final results. She is dedicated to helping patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their dental procedures. She strives to be very precise when providing patients the great care they deserve.
Maddie joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2020. She attended Cape Fear Community College where she earned her AA Dental Assisting in 2010. She is certified in CPR, Radiology, Nitrous Oxide and Blood Borne Pathogens.
Maddie grew up in Damascus, Maryland. She moved to Charlotte, North Carolina because of its high reputation for an eclectic mix of city life and the beauty of the great outdoors. In her free time, she enjoys walking, running and mountain biking.
Maddie always had great experiences at the dentist growing up, and decided she wanted to be part of delivering that experience to others. A great doctor once told her “Leave them better than you found them” which inspires her to enrich the lives of her patients by improving their smiles. Maddie goes above and beyond to help her patients feel comfortable in our office and in the dental chair because she understands dental visits can be a real fear for many people.
