Jennifer has been with Oak Ridge Dental Arts since 2014. Prior to dental school, she attended the University of Bridgeport. She then received her Dental Hygiene degree from Fones School of Dentistry.
Originally from Madison, Connecticut, Jennifer decided to relocate to North Carolina for the beautiful weather. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling and loves her two miniature dachshunds, Bella and Tika.
The medical field runs in Jennifer’s family. Her father is a doctor, her mother a nurse, and her sister is a dental hygienist. Jennifer enjoys helping others. It is important to her to educate patients and care for their dental needs. Jennifer is known for her attention to detail, her fun personality, her ability to explain everything well to patients during their visits, and for providing a great dental experience.
Lauren joined our Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2020. She attended Central Piedmont Community College where she earned her Associates in Dental Hygiene degree.
Lauren was born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina. She has two dogs, Sadie and Evie, and a cat named Kitty. She and her husband love being outdoors and adventurous.
Lauren truly values getting to know her patients and forming lifelong relationships with them. She is passionate about educating her patients on new things about their oral health. Lauren has a very caring, friendly personality and strives to provide the best dental experience possible.
Jen has been with Oak Ridge Dental Arts since 2015. She received her Dental Assisting (DAII) certification from Lake Norman Dental Assisting School. Jen is certified in S.P.I.C.E, Coronal Polishing, Nitrous Oxide, and Dental Radiography.
Jen is originally from Anderson, South Carolina, and moved to Belmont, North Carolina after marrying her husband. In her free time, she enjoys running 5Ks, crafting, volunteering at her church, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jen has a love for helping others and believes dentistry chose her. She is dedicated to helping her patients feel as comfortable as possible during their visits. She enjoys making personal connections with her patients and considers her patients family. She understands many patients have dental anxiety and strives to create trust with them to conquer their dental fears. With sixteen years in the dental field, Jen is known for being very knowledgeable in the dental field, patient, friendly and compassionate.
Kaylee joined our Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2020. She received her Dental Assisting (DAII) from the North Carolina Dental Assistant Training School.
Kaylee is originally from Gastonia, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys shopping, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her daughter.
Kaylee chose dentistry because she wanted a career that would give her the opportunity of seeing the satisfaction for patients in treatment from start to finish. She says that it is very rewarding seeing patients happy with their new smile. She is committed to making sure her patients leave happy and confident, and she is known for her bubbly personality and for being friendly and honest.
Amy, our Insurance Coordinator, has been with Oak Ridge Dental Arts since 2014. She began working in the dental field in 1994.
Amy was born and raised in Belmont, North Carolina. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her daughter, shopping, and yard selling. She also collects poison rings and foreign currency.
Amy is dedicated to going above and beyond to help patients utilize their insurance benefits in the best way possible. Amy is known for being very knowledgeable and helpful to patients when it comes to their dental insurance.
Melissa joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2015. Melissa began her dental career as a dental assistant and discovered that she enjoyed the administrative side of dentistry. Melissa holds certifications for DA1, Dental Radiography, and CPR.
Melissa was born and raised in Belmont, North Carolina. She enjoys crafting, glamping, and loves being a mom.
Melissa understands the importance of communication and understanding when it comes to dental procedures and she enjoys helping patients plan their treatment needs. She is known for her patient and understanding personality and is dedicated to providing a calming environment for patients.
