Jennifer
Dental Hygienist

Jennifer has been with Oak Ridge Dental Arts since 2014. Prior to dental school, she attended the University of Connecticut. She then received her Dental Hygiene degree from Fones School of Dentistry.

Originally from Madison, Connecticut, Jennifer decided to relocate to North Carolina for the beautiful weather. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, working out, and loves her miniature dachshund.

The medical field runs in Jennifer’s family. Her father was a doctor, her mother a nurse, and her sister is a dental hygienist. Jennifer enjoys helping others. It is important to her to educate patients and care for their dental needs. Jennifer is known for her attention to detail, her fun personality, her ability to explain everything well to patients during their visits, and for providing a great dental experience.

Lauren
Dental Hygienist

Lauren joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2020. She earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Central Piedmont Community College.

Lauren was born and raised in Gastonia, North Carolina. She married her high school sweetheart, Hunter, in 2020. They love to spend their free time with their daughter, dogs, family and friends.

Lauren loves helping people and always knew she wanted to work in the medical field. She truly values getting to know her patients and forming lifelong relationships with them. She is passionate about educating her patients on new things about their oral health. Lauren has a very caring, thorough, and a great team player. She always strives to provide the very best dental experience to all her patients.

Amy
Insurance Coordinator

Amy, our Insurance Coordinator, has been with Oak Ridge Dental Arts since 2014. She began working in the dental field in 1994.

Amy was born and raised in Belmont, North Carolina. In her free time, Amy enjoys spending time with her daughter, shopping, and yard selling. She also collects poison rings and foreign currency.

Amy is dedicated to going above and beyond to help patients utilize their insurance benefits in the best way possible. Amy is known for being very knowledgeable and helpful to patients when it comes to their dental insurance.

Melissa
Office Manager

Melissa, our Office Manager, joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2015. Melissa began her dental career as a dental assistant and discovered that she enjoyed the administrative side of dentistry. Melissa holds certifications for DA1, Dental Radiography, and CPR.

Melissa was born and raised in Belmont, North Carolina. She enjoys crafting, glamping, and loves being a mom.

Patient care and comfort is most important to Melissa. She strives to help each patient feel “at home” and like they are family. She truly enjoys getting to know every patient and their family and creating long term relationships with everyone. She is known for her patient and understanding personality and is dedicated to providing a calming environment for patients.
