ServicesDr. Madison E. Hoover
Dr. Madison Hoover, DMD joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team in 2022. She attended the University of South Carolina, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry degree, and graduated Cum Laude. She then obtained her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.
While in dental school, Dr. Hoover was awarded a Safety Net Dental Certificate. The program requires that students take four semester long courses that enhance their dental public health knowledge and complete experiential learning with a local community clinic. She spent two years volunteering at North Charleston Dental Clinic, a free clinic for those that cannot afford dental care. She was a South Carolina Dental Association Scholarship winner, and was also awarded the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine Alumni Association Service Award.
Dr. Hoover received training in all aspects of general dentistry procedures, including restoring dental implants and root canal therapy. After graduating dental school, she continued her education to provide Invisalign treatment. She also understands many patients have dental anxiety, and is certified in Nitrous Oxide to help ease any nerves and provide a comfortable dental experience.
After almost ten years of collegiate education, Dr. Hoover is happy to be back, living close to her family while enjoying all that Charlotte has to offer. Aside from dentistry, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Carolina Gamecocks and Panthers. She also loves exercising, traveling, and reading. Dr. Hoover looks forward to getting to know her patients beyond their dental needs, and being a provider patients look forward to seeing.
