Dr. Landi Tripp, DDS, RN joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts Team in July, 2017. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Queens University of Charlotte with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree. Dr. Tripp practiced as a registered nurse for five years in the Emergency Department at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center near Uptown Charlotte before pursuing dental education. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2017. During her dental studies, Dr. Tripp co-founded the student organization SEiD (Student Entrepreneurs in Dentistry) and served as an academic and clinical tutor to her peers.
Dr. Tripp was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. In 2004, she came to Charlotte to pursue her nursing education and now has the great pleasure of calling Charlotte home. Away from dentistry, Dr. Tripp deeply enjoys spending time with her wonderful family and friends, in particular her triplet sons. She also greatly enjoys traveling, venturing new restaurants, cooking, baking, furniture restoration, CrossFit and being outdoors.
Dr. Tripp is comfortable providing dental care to patients and families across all age groups and backgrounds. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including crown and bridge treatment, oral surgery, complete and partial denture therapy, root canal therapy, tooth colored fillings, cosmetic dentistry, and providing dental care to children and to individuals with special needs. Additionally, from her previous experience, and still holding her registered nurse licensure, she is very comfortable treating and managing the care of medically complex patients.
Professionally, Dr. Tripp serves as a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. She is passionate about constantly seeking opportunities to advance her skill set and staying current with innovative techniques and technology. Dr. Tripp is thrilled to join the Oak Ridge Dental Arts team and greatly values the opportunity to provide your dental health care and help you reach your dental health goals.
