Dr. Alexander W. Allred, DMD joined the Oak Ridge Dental Arts Team in June, 2014. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT with a bachelor's degree in Biology. He then earned the degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from Midwestern University School of Dental Medicine in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Allred is trained to use state-of-the-art technologies, materials, and clinically-proven techniques. He is also fluent in the Spanish language.

Dr. Allred lives with his family in Huntersville, NC. He and his wife, Bridget, have been married for 10 years and have two kids, an 8-year-old daughter and a 6-year-old son. The newest member of the Allred family is Maggie the cat who has brought a lot of love and excitement into the home. In addition to spending time with family and cooking interesting foods, Dr. Allred enjoys playing disc golf, cycling, tennis, football and hiking. He also loves music. He enjoys listening to music, playing music and producing music.

As a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society, Dr. Allred believes strongly in practicing according to current research and evidence-based dentistry. He also values the opportunity to build a relationship with his patients and the trust that they place in him. He emphasizes listening to his patients’ needs and having a gentle chairside manner.
